1, Function
Both solution supports transfer screen data through network from client computer to projector. No VGA cable needed.
2, Price
If you already have a general projector, Projector Online cost $49. You need a simple computer (without monitor) to connect to the projector. The price of a new wireless projector is at least $2000. If you already have a computer connect to projector in default, Projector Online save more! A old-computer after y2004 is enough to do the server job.
3, Speed and band-width requirements
Based on SSCV2, Projector Online support 802.11b(11Mbps) and bad wireless connection environment. Wireless projector normally require 802.11g(54M) and above band-width with good wireless signal, otherwise, the video of screen would not be smooth.
Projector Online support traditional local network (RJ45), VPN and internet connection but most wireless projector need wireless network.
4, Upgrade
Projector Online is a software solution which can be upgraded with more features and functions. Wireless projector can not be upgraded unless purchase a new modal. We plan to add more and more functions to Projector Online include 1-to-N and N-to-1 projection. And upgrade in is totally free in 1 year.
5, Client
Most wireless projector need install a client program on computer while Projector Online only need a discard able, small, green client with only 140K size, no registry writing and installation.
6, Trial
You can try Projector Online before buy, but it is hard to try a wireless projector before buy.
At end, the defects of Projector Online is, as a sofware with no driver,it does not support overlap mode video. Please considered.
